Nero D'Avola and Cerasuolo di Vittoria Tour
...to know the Nero D'Avola, that is the base and the structure of the quality' s Red Sicilian wines Doc and Itg and to appreciate the Cerasuolo di Vittoria, is due to union of Nero D'Avola and Frappato.
1st day: Palermo
Arrival at Palermo. Transfer to the hotel and lunch. In the afternoon visit of the town (the Cathedral, Palatine Chapel, S.Johns of Heremits Church, Monreale's Cloister, panoramic tour of the centre). Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
2nd day: Casteldaccia, Cerda e Cefalù
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Casteldaccia to visit Duca di Salaparuta's wine-cellar. Continuation with Cerda to visit Fontanarossa's agricultural farm, where you can have lunch tasting some local products. Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon visit of Cefalù (the wonderful Cathedral, built under Ruggero II period). Settlement at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
3rd day: Castelbuono , Pratameno Vallelunga e Piazza Armerina
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Castelbuono and visit at Lena's wine cellar where you can taste Sant'Anastasia's wines. Continuation with Vallelunga Pratameno to visit the famous Regaleali's wine cellar. Lunch. In the afternoon visit of Mosaics in Piazza Armerina. Settlement at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
4th day: Acate, Donnafugata e Kamarina
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the visit of Torrevecchia's wine cellars and Valle dell'Acate's wine cellars. Lunch in typical restaurant in front of the beautiful Donnafugata Castle. Visit at the Castle with its 8 ectars parc. Arrival at the hotel in Ragusa, dinner and overnight.
5th day: Ragusa Ibla e Modica
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of Ragusa Ibla, baroque town and Modica, one of the most important and rich feuds in Sicily. Lunch at an agricultural farm and visit, in the afternoon, of "Coria" wine-cellar. Back to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
6th day: Catania
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the airport.
