
Sicilian cooking lessons. Tour dedicate to who want to find out the secrets of enchanting Sicilian cuisine, famous all over the world.
1st day: Ragusa (km 100)
Arrival at Catania airport, transfer to hotel in Ragusa, welcome cocktail and accomodation. An aperitif before dinner will be served during the explication of the tour programme. Dinner and overnight.
2nd day: Ragusa e Modica (km 15+15)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Ragusa Ibla, wich is one of the most charming places in Sicily where baroque decorations assault the visitors who penetrete the labyrinth of narrow streets. Visit of San George 's Church, considered among the most beautiful churches in Italy. Lunch at restaurant and continuation for Modica to visit the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions and to assist at the production of chocolate, which derives directly from the ancient "Xocòat" (Aztechi culture). Arrival at a "Masseria" to assist at "Ricotta cheese"production, dinner with typical products. Overnight at hotel.
3rd day: Siracusa (km 90+90)
(km 90+90) Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Syracuse: Archaeological area and Papyrus Museum. Lunch with fish menu and back to Ragusa. In the afternoon visit of a very good sweets workroom to assist at "Frutta Martorana" (Marzapane) production or "Sicilian Torrone" (it's up to the period). Aperitif and dinner will be served with the explication of the dishes. Overnight at hotel.
4th day: Agrigento e Marsala (km 269)
Breakfast at hotel Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Valley of Temples in Agrigento. Lunch in typical restaurant and continuation to Marsala, welcome cocktail at the hotel. Before dinner the chef will explain the preparation of "couscous", wich eill be served for dinner. Overnight at hotel.
5th day: Marsala
Breakfast at hotel. Visit of a wine cellar with tasting of local typical products for lunch. In the afternoon visit of the interesting salt-pants or Mothia isle (it's up to the wheather). Back to hotel for an aperitif with cooking lessons. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
6th day: Erice, Segesta e Palermo (km 130)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Erice, lunch in a typical restaurant. Visit of Segesta and continuation to Palermo, lunch at hotel. In the afternoon you'll assist at a lesson of cuisine of the west side of Sicily. Dinner at hotel and by-night city tour. Overnight at hotel.
7th day: Palermo
Breakfast at hotel. Visit of a couple of the characteristic markets of the town among: "Ballarò", "Capo", the famous "Vucciria market" and "Borgo Vecchio". Lunch at hotel. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner at a restaurant or at hotel with folkloristic show and with the issue of participation certificates at the sicilian cooking lessons. Overnight at the hotel.
8th day: Palermo
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for the departure.
