Alessia Barbici-Wagner

Dr. Alessia Barbici was born and raised in Palermo, Sicily. After receiving her doctorate from the University of Palermo in languages and foreign literature, studying both English and German, she married her American husband in 2004 and has been a permanent resident of the United States since.
She received the highest mark possible for her dissertation entitled “Accessibility and Usability of the internet.”
Since her arrival in the United States, she has worked for the Berlitz Language Center in Washington, DC, a well-know non-profit school always in Washington, DC, “American University”, and for a language school in Annandale, Virginia.
She loves to share the Italian language and culture with her students and has a great time doing it.
